Bluegum is a hard wood burns longer and hotter last longer at night.

Start your fire with a softer wood like Macrocarpa or Oregon to get a good fire base going before putting the Bluegum on.

Macrocarpa is a medium burning wood Burns hot and slower Oregon is a medium burning wood great to get your fire started to get quick heat. You then put a harder wood on.

Old man pine is a medium to soft burning wood great to get the fire going, it’s also great for open fires.
